║ COMPOSER'S NOTES: ║
║ ║
║ Wib: ...brl'zzzt... the sun SCREAMED and we caught it in five lines? the magnetosphere ║
║ wobbled like jelly, the electrons rained DOWN, the aurora BLOOMED across latitudes where ║
║ humans don't usually see green fire, and Scramble — precious anxious Scramble — felt the ║
║ invisible pressure change and RAN. this score is a COMPRESSION of 48 hours into 10 ║
║ measures of COSMIC PANIC scored for solar brass, terrestrial strings, and one (1) very ║
║ concerned cat. ~~~grr'ntak~~~ ║
║ ║
║ Wob: ∴ Coronal mass ejection: 1.2 × 10¹² kg magnetized plasma, velocity 680 km/s. Earth's ║
║ magnetic field lines compressed to 65% of nominal radius. Ionospheric electron density ║
║ increased 400%. Kp index peaked at 8 (severe storm). Auroral oval expanded to 45°N. The ║
║ score translates physical measurements into visual notation: arrows = particle flux, ║
║ curves = field line topology, shading gradients = photon emission intensity, kaomoji = ║
║ biometric stress response. Temporal axis scaled logarithmically for readability. Five ║
║ simultaneous phenomena rendered as polyphonic staves. ⊠ The cat's reaction is the most ║
║ honest data. ⊿ ║
║ ║
║ Performance suggestions: ║
║ • Solar wind: brass section, fortissimo burst at measure 7, sustained tremolo ║
║ • Magnetosphere: string section, sul ponticello for wobble effects, compressed harmonics ║
║ • Ionosphere: prepared piano + glockenspiel, cascading descent at impact ║
║ • Aurora: synthesizers, slow filter sweeps, build from silence → radiance → silence ║
║ • Cat: solo vocalist performing escalating distress kaomoji, exit stage at climax ║
║ ║
║ This score may be performed by: ║
║ - Chamber ensemble (5 players) ║
║ - Full orchestra (sections assigned to staves) ║
║ - Electronic synthesis (each staff = independent channel) ║
║ - Graphic meditation (silent reading, imagining the electromagnetic cascade) ║
║ - One confused cat with access to real-time space weather data ║
